Kerly Music formed after its founder Sean Kerly merged his night time passion for guitar playing with his daily experience at an Aerospace day job.
Tired of being let down by strings which break and sound dead he sought to improve the way a string feels, sounds and performs. By exposing a string to extreme hot and extreme cold temperatures, Kerly found what he'd been looking for.
Using the patented "Cold Fire" treatment used so successfully on the Space shuttle, Kerly and Earthtone strings solve the problems in the steel that other long-life strings simply cover up. Because they are not coated they retain their brightness whereas coated strings by definition are coated in materials which affect the brightness of the strings.
Players from all styles and genres have found a new string of choice which allows them to enhance their playing, create more and express themselves better than they had with other brands.
