About the Elements Series
"We want your guitar to last and give you years of pleasure."
The Elements range of guitars are aimed at the improving and semi pro player. The wood used in the necks of the guitars had to be properly dried and seasoned, both Steve and Tony had seen evidence of what happens when eastern factories use wood that isn't properly dried. Twisted necks were commonplace amongst many guitars so a higher than usual grade of mahogany was used. The same is true of guitar tops which can "belly up" or buckle under the pressure exerted by the strings when the wood is either poor quality or "green".
Secondly, a good quality pre-amp from a 'named' manufacturer (in this case the market leader, Fishman with built in tuner), rather than the proprietary lower priced offerings of many factories. Good looks are important, because everyone wants to be proud of their guitar. Next little touches like, real bone for the nuts and saddles rather than plastic, better quality machine heads, for accuracy and stability in tuning and a decent, thick hardwearing gig bag for the , so you can transport the instrument to school or gigs without doing too much damage.
All these little touches resulted in a blueprint for a high value, low cost range of guitars that dealers, teachers and parents can have confidence in recommending or buying.
